Tom Cruise stars in Edge of Tomorrow as a soldier in the future. He battles the Mimics, a race of aliens that has invaded Earth. Caught in a time loop, he relives the battle and his death each day. But each time, he also learns more about the aliens' weaknesses.
Jupiter Ascending is a 3-D, futuristic science-fiction story about a human woman named Jupiter. The Queen of the Universe wants her dead because her existence threatens the Queen's power. Channing Tatum plays a genetically engineered hunter sent to Earth to find and save Jupiter.
Transformers: Age of Extinction features another battle between the Autobots and Decepticons. Mark Wahlberg plays a mechanic who makes a discovery that sets the plot in motion. Parts of the film were shot on location in China.
