How many days could you last without your mobile phone?

According to a new report released by Bank of America, [not many]. Nearly half of the people surveyed (47 percent) said they wouldn't last a day without their device.

The need for access to a mobile phone ranks higher than access to TV or coffee. [This was] according to the survey, held by Braun Research. The phone survey of 1,000 adults was conducted May 6 to 13. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.

Thirty-five percent of people said they check their phones constantly. Twenty-six percent say they check it several times throughout the day. Thirteen percent said they hardly ever check their phone or only check it when they really need it.

Bank of America had the study done. [It was] partly to show how much consumers increasingly are relying on their smartphones to make banking transactions.
