Exploring Greece (3)

Enjoy your stay
Experience Greek hospitality for yourself, and skip the big city hotels. Instead, book your stay at a smaller location. Guesthouses and B&Bs are often less expensive and just as nice. You'll get to know the owners and the neighborhood quickly. Places like these will bring you closer to the Greek community. And you'll save a lot of money!

Don't forget to clean your plate! Greek food is full of flavor, and it's healthy! Greece is known for its delicious olives, cheeses and honey, to name only a few.

Order signature dishes like moussaka and spanakopita, with a Greek salad topped with fresh tomatoes and feta. Then try some baklava for dessert. You'll probably want seconds of everything!

Art, history, nature, food - Greece has it all! You'll leave this beautiful and ancient country with lots of good memories. Make sure to send some postcards before you leave. Your friends will want to hear all about your trip!

Teaching Topic: The Ampersand (&的由來)
B&B= bed and breakfast
& = and = ampersand
200年前, 英文有27個字母,
在XYZ之後, 還有~"Et" 這個字是拉丁文, 表示 and,
後來因為當時始用草寫的字體,
大寫的E 彎起來多了一條小尾巴,
漸漸的就演變成 &,
and per se and 這個符號自己的意思是and,
讀快一點最後這個等號就變成 ampersand
